Letter from our President –

Welcome to the Web Site!
For over two years,
I have been trying to get the site up and running. It has been a trying
time. However I now feel very comfortable that we have it under control,
thanks to our web master Tom Shanahan.
I simply do not have the time, or the knowledge to keep a web site up and
running. It also requires a continuing commitment. Tom has been able to
provide just that! A good web site must contain up-to-date information. It
needs to be fresh. It needs to be a growing piece of work. I want to thank
Tom for all of his work. If you agree, drop him a line and let him know
you appreciate his good work as well.
I intend to leave a few words monthly, I hope you come by and see what is
new. If you have something to say about your Holy name, I hope that you
let us know.
Retreat
I would like to thank all of the men who attended our retreat on March
22nd & 23rd. I also want to thank the men from St George for making
the event so special. I look forward to working with you again next year!
Adoptive God Parent's Day
On the first weekend in May we are
asking all Holy Name Societies to participate in our first annual Baby
Shower for needy women. Please visit this section of the web site to see
Bulletin Announcements, press releases, and a recent interview about the
event. Please help us with your participation.
June 13th Mass
This year's Mass will be at St. Nicks in Evanston. We hope that everyone
will invite someone to join him or her at the mass. I hope to see you at
the meetings leading up to the event.
I know that this letter is short this month, I just wanted to say thanks
for visiting, and hope that you will come back periodically to see what we
are doing!
